Summer Activities
Morzine is a great place to be in the summer. There are so many different options of activities for all walks of life whether you like water sports, hiking, mountain biking or even just relaxing, there is something here for everyone. After years of living here, we have some great knowledge to help you organise and book your holiday ahead of time and make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun. Below are a few of our favourites:
Rafting.
A short drive down the valley from Morzine takes you to Frogs Rafting. These guys run various exciting trips on the Dranse River. With options for all from 8 years old, you can plan the trip depending what you are after. Whatever the weather, rain or shine, this is the perfect activity to get in and try.
Canyoning.
One of our personal favourites is Canyoning. Its a great way to cool off on a hot day and packed full of adventure. Make your way down a canyon by jumping, sliding, abseiling and swimming, from small jumps to big jumps, you really feel like your back to nature. Jeremy from Frogs is always excited to get in the canyon and share with you his passion for the water.
Climbing.
If you’re interested in climbing, there are endless locations here with grades to suit everyone. Whether its your first time and you are after a bit of instruction or you’re a veteran climber looking for a new challenge or a mulit-pitch, we can help you find the best place to go.
