FAQs Winter
Here’s a few of the typical questions asked by our guests. Because we operate in the summer and winter we’ve separated them for you:
HOW DO I BOOK?
You can book any of our holidays from our website by contacting us through our enquiries page. Alternatively, you can email us or phone us to make a booking or to request any further info.
WHAT CAN WE HAVE FOR BREAKFAST?
We offer cereal, fresh baguettes, fruit, yoghurts and one hot option (e.g. scrambled eggs, pancakes etc) every day except staff day off where it will be only continental. Tea and coffee is available in the chalet all day.
CAN YOU CATER FOR SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes we can cater for necessary dietary requirements, please let us know when making your booking and see further information here.
HOW DO I PAY?
When booking we require a 30% deposit to secure the reservation with the remaining balance due 12 weeks prior to arrival. This can be paid by either bank transfer, using PayPal (occurs a 3% charge). For international guests we suggest using Transferwise.
IS THERE COMPLIMENTARY WINE AND BEER?
We carefully select quality red and white wine, which is available during dinner. We also have a very affordable honesty bar for beer and wine before or after dinner.
DO YOU PROVIDE LUNCH?
No we do not provide lunch in the chalet but Morzine and the surrounding area has a huge amount of options that we can recommend to you from the basic to the gourmet.
DO THE CHILDREN EAT WITH THE ADULTS?
Children’s meal time is generally at 5:30pm – 6pm with adults and older children eating at 7pm. If children over 12 would like to join the adults they are welcome and if a group occupies the whole chalet you can choose when the children eat.
HOW DO I GET TO MORZINE?
By Car
Morzine is around 875km from Calais and with the majority of this on motorways it should take around 8 hours.
By Transfer from Geneva Airport
We have teamed up with a Ski-Lifts and Powder cabs which are local transfer companies that will pick you from Geneva Airport and take you to our chalet.
By plane
With Geneva around 1 ¼ hours drive away it makes it the closest and easiest airport to us and is well connected by many major and budget airlines. We have no restrictions on arrival and departure times so you can select the time of day that works for you and get the best deals on flights. Opt for an early arrival and drop your bags with us while you take a relaxing stroll into town. Likewise with a late departure, you can leave your luggage at the chalet and even grab a quick shower before heading to the airport.
Contact us.
If there’s anything else we can help you with or if you have specific needs please get in touch with us & we’ll do our best to help you.
Many thanks,
Anna & Mike
