How do I book?

You can book any of our holidays from our website by clicking on your preferred holiday on our Bookings page.  This will direct you to a page with full details for that holiday and a booking form at the bottom of the page.  Alternatively, you can email us to make a booking or to request any further info.

How do I pay?

Once we have received your booking reservation, we will send you a confirmation email with full instructions on when and how to pay.  When booking we require a 30% deposit to secure the reservation with the remaining balance due 12 weeks prior to arrival.  This can be paid by either bank transfer, using PayPal (occurs a 3% charge) or by cheque.  All cheques must be payable to ‘45 Degrees North’.  Deposits must be received by 45 Degrees North within 5 days of making the provisional booking.  For international guests we suggest using Transferwise.

What Bank Cards do you accept?

Using PayPal we can accept payment from all major debit & credit cards.  These include Visa, Delta, Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro & American Express.  Debit cards (also known as bank cards) are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.  However, using PayPal will incur a 3% charge.

How do I get to Morzine?

By plane
With Geneva around 1 ¼ hours drive away it makes it the closest and easiest airport to us and is well connected by many major and budget airlines.  Return flights from the UK start at less than £60 return plus baggage fees.

We have no restrictions on arrival and departure times so you can select the time of day that works for you and get the best deals on flights.  Opt for an early arrival and drop your bags with us while you take a relaxing stroll into town.  Likewise with a late departure, you can leave your luggage at the chalet and even grab a quick shower before heading to the airport.

By train
This can often be the most relaxing way to travel.  Our nearest station is Cluses where you can get a taxi  to the chalet in 45 minutes or the more affordable way is to get a train to Geneva airport and get a transfer from there as they are constantly running.  Train details can be found on the SNCF website and tickets go on sale 90 days before the date of travel.

By Car
Morzine is around 875km from Calais and with the majority of this on motorways it should take around 8 hours.  If you opt to drive out feel free to get in touch before or during your journey as this is a trip we’ve done many times before and we’d be happy to help.

Are airport transfers available?

We have teamed up with a couple of local transfer companies that will pick you and your bike up from Geneva Airport and take you to our chalet.  We’ll be posting more details on their prices soon.

What bikes can I hire?

We have teamed up with Torrico in Morzine. They offer a wide range of bikes, ideal for the mountains around us. They also provide us with a 10% discount for our guests. Use the code: 45n to receive the discount from their website. Simply bring your pedals and helmet you’re ready to go!

I have special dietary requirements.

No problem, our chef can cater for all dietary requirements, although we do ask that you let us know in advance.

Do you cater for all ages?

Yes. We also offer discounts for youth riders (see below).

Do you give discounts for children?

Yes, we offer 20% discounts for children under 12 attending our Family Week and infants go free when in a travel cot in their parent’s room.

My partner would like to come but they don’t cycle?

No problem!  We offer 10% off for non-cycling partners but please contact us if you have any other questions.

I’m new to road cycling – is this for me?

We pride ourselves on being able to cater for a wide range of abilities.  Whether you’ve been riding a road bike for years or are new to it, we’re here to give you the support you need to make the most out of your holiday.  We’ll give you tips to help you enjoy riding in the Alps, keeping you safe and improving your confidence so that you can take on new challenges.  If you have any questions please get in touch and we’d be happy to help.
