Travel

By Plane

With Geneva around 1 ¼ hours drive away it makes it the closest and easiest airport to us and is well connected by many major and budget airlines. Return flights from the UK start at less than £60 return plus baggage fees.

We have no restrictions on arrival and departure times so you can select the time of day that works for you and get the best deals on flights. For the super keen, this can give you an extra two days on the mountain if you time your flights right!!! Opt for an early arrival and drop your bags with us while you go and enjoy the empty slopes. If you’ve pre-booked your lift pass we’ll have it there waiting for you. Likewise with a late departure, you can leave your luggage at the chalet and even grab a quick shower before heading to the airport.

Airport transfers

Powder Cab

This year we have teamed up with Powder Cabs, Morzine’s number one rated transfer company on TripAdvisor. They are an independent company who pride themselves on their professional and friendly service, providing all their all their own buses that work around your arrival time. They offer both private and shared transfers that will take you door to door. Powder Cabs have also offered our guests a 5% discount when you use this code: 45DN .

Ski Lifts

We are also linked with Ski Lifts who  began operating in 2003 from Geneva airport. They work closely with the various transfer companies around the alps to provide both private and shared transfers for you depending what on what the needs are of you and your group. If you use this link you will receive a 5% discount on their already competitive prices.

Please make sure you understand the terms and conditions when you book and don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or prefer to find your own way.

By Train

This can often be the most relaxing way to travel and if you take the overnight train you can get an extra day on the mountain for your efforts. Our nearest station is Cluses with private taxi services available to the chalet. Or alternatively you can catch the train to Geneva and from there you can get an airport transfer which is cheaper. Train details can be found on the SNCF website and tickets go on sale 90 days before the date of travel.

By Car

Morzine is around 875km from Calais and with the majority of this on motorways it should take around 8 hours. If you opt to drive out feel free to get in touch before or during your journey as this is a trip we’ve done many times before and we’d be happy to help.
