The wonder of Morzine is the shear size of the skiable area which is complimented by a range of lift passes to suit everyone. Morzine is part of the ski area Portes Du Soliel. As one of the worlds largest ski areas, this includes 12 linked resorts and 650km of marked pistes between France and Switzerland. 286 runs, 207 lifts, 7 snow-parks, 3 half pipes and 4 border crossings are all there for your enjoyment with a choice of piste, trees and powder skiing.
Intermediate skiers who would like to ski between France and Switzerland without restriction opt for the Portes Du Soliel pass. Beginners will usually find the Avoriaz or Morzine/Les Gets pass is enough. Note, the Morzine/Les Gets pass is upgradeable by visiting the lift office.
Avoriaz does get busy over peak times but the high location of the resort also means it will usually hold its snow well though to the end of the season in April.
To save you having to queue up and organise your passes on your arrival in resort, we are able to order your lift passes for you and have them ready for you when you get here. Let us know if you would like to do this and we will send you all the information we need to get this sorted.
