Col de la Colombière
We won’t make you cycle the 2016 Tour de France stage (profile below) but if you’re up for a challenge we’ll take you on an out and back ride to include Col de la Colombière, passing through some quiet back roads and scenic valleys. This ride covers 110km with 2,750m of climbing and if you link up with Relive you’ll get to produce an impressive video of your ride to share with your friends.
Col de la Colombière is a 17km climb with an average gradient of 6.8%. Save some energy for the last 3km where the climb ramps up to 11%. Arriving at the top at 1,613m there’s a fantastic view of the Arve and Bourne valleys either side. Plus the cafe on top makes great value baguettes, coffees and hot chocolates!
As always our support vehicle will be with you with extra layers, snacks and fluid.
If you’d like to find out more about any of our rides please get in touch with Mike, Anna or Chris.
