Join us on one of our cycling/tri weeks and reward a long ride over the mountains with a dip in stunning lake Annecy, one of the cleanest lakes in Europe and kept warm with hot springs! If you’ve got some extra energy there’s another couple of amazing climbs nearby with more endless views of the mountains and distant vineyards.
If you’d like a challenge you might like to compare your time to the 2009 Tour de France time trial and ride a 40.5km loop around the lake. Alternatively follow the path of the pro peloton and retrace the penultimate stage in the 2013 Tour, to Annecy-Semnoz. The view (above) is well worth the effort to ride up this demanding climb.
This is an awesome place to ride, run & swim and is easily accessible from our chalet. Its also a perfect opportunity to get some training in for the International Triathlon of Annecy.
Our detailed knowledge of the area, where to swim, the best place to get a pizza or beer and the best cycling routes for every level of challenge, will help you to have the best possible week with us.
Here’s some details of just a few of the ride options around Annecy:
